Lake Travis volleyball opens the playoffs Friday against Buda Johnson at Dripping Springs

Oct 29, 2026 · 8:06 AM|1 min read|28 readers|By Lake Travis Volleyball

Fresh off a share of the district championship, Lake Travis volleyball starts its UIL playoff run Friday, October 30, against Buda Johnson in the bi-district round. First serve is set for 6:45 p.m. at Dripping Springs High School, according to the program's official site.

That matchup replaces the Stony Point listing that had appeared on a ticketing site earlier this week. Tickets are sold online through the team's link, and fans are being asked to wear red and black and fill the stands.

The Cavaliers already know this opponent: they beat Buda Johnson 3-1 at home in August. The program also wrapped up a strong season across the board, with the freshman and flex teams winning district titles and JV tying for second.
