Lakeway has a new rental option for active adults. Jovie Lakeway, an apartment community for residents 55 and older, moved in its first tenants on Oct. 18 at 50 Bella Toscana Ave.

The community offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, and the amenity list leans social: a fitness and yoga studio, a resort-style pool, a pickleball court, an outdoor lounge and game court, a business center and a small on-site market. A clubhouse hosts weekly events for residents.

Jovie is the first piece of The Square at Lakeway to open. The 63-acre mixed-use development off Lohmans Crossing is planned as Lakeway's city center, with a new Main Street linking RM 620 to Lohmans Crossing expected to wrap up in early 2027.
