The Lake Travis volleyball team got its revenge on Westlake Friday night, beating the Chaparrals 3-1 in the Round Gym to close out district play. The Cavaliers took the match by set scores of 25-21, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-18.

It wasn't easy. Westlake never scored fewer than 18 points in a set, and Chaparral standout Clayton Kelly finished with 26 digs and 12 kills. But the win evens the season series after Westlake took the first meeting in September, and it pushes Lake Travis to 38-6 with six wins in a row.

Both teams now turn to the UIL postseason, with bi-district matches beginning this week. It was a good night for the volleyball Cavs on the same Friday the football team fell to Westlake across campus.
