Lakeway's Art Walk is back this coming weekend, with local artists opening their galleries, home studios and pop-up spaces to the public for paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography and mixed-media work.

The weekend kicks off Friday, Nov. 6, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with an artist open house at TexARTS Theatre & Academy on RM 620, including a performance by TexARTS at 6:30 p.m.

The self-guided studio tours run Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 7 and 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Start at the Lakeway Heritage Center on Lohmans Crossing to pick up a studio map and artist catalog, then drive the route at your own pace. It's a good chance to meet the artists and buy original work made right here around the lake.
