Spicewood has a new early-morning coffee stop. Firehouse Coffee Co. has opened a fire department-themed drive-thru at 9330 E. State Highway 71, its "Station 71" location, according to Lake Travis Current.

The shop is first-responder and veteran owned and serves coffee, handcrafted drinks, teas, smoothies and pastries. It opens at 5:30 a.m. every day and closes at 2 p.m., and online ordering is available through the shop's Toast page.

It's a handy option for commuters heading toward Bee Cave and Austin, or for anyone on the way out to Krause Springs and the west side of the lake. Menu and ordering details are on fhcoffee.co.
