Lake Travis volleyball sweeps Brennan and heads to the regional final against Round Rock

Nov 7, 2026 · 8:03 AM|1 min read|38 readers|By Terrence Thomas on Sports

Lake Travis volleyball is one win away from the state tournament. The Cavaliers beat San Antonio Brennan 3-0 Friday night in the Class 6A Division I regional semifinals at Buda Johnson High School, keeping a dominant playoff run rolling.

It's the latest sweep for a Lake Travis team that beat Buda Johnson for the bi-district title and swept Reagan in the area round earlier this week, a night when senior Gentry Barker reached 2,000 career kills.

Next up is a familiar opponent: Round Rock, which beat Harlan in four sets Friday. The Dragons and Cavs split their district meetings this fall. UIL has the regional finals set for Nov. 9-10; the exact time and site were still to be announced Saturday morning, so watch the Lake Travis Volleyball updates page for tickets.
