Rounds of downpours, flood threat on Monday

Austin residents should prepare for rounds of downpours and thunderstorms starting Monday, with high temperatures in the 80s and 90s. The Weather Prediction Center has issued a Slight (level 2 out of 4) flood risk for the region on Monday and most of the KXAN viewing area on Tuesday. Multiple rounds of rain are expected, with flash flooding possible, especially during Tuesday morning's commute when rain coverage looks highest. At least an inch of rain is forecast across the area, with some spots potentially seeing multiple inches.
