The City of Cedar Park has ceased mandatory water restrictions because of recent rains and higher lake levels, officials said today.

The city entered stage two of drought restrictions on Aug. 13th because of low water levels in Lake Travis.

Cedar Park is returning to stage one of the drought contingency plan, which calls for voluntary compliance with the watering schedule.

The voluntary oudoor watering schedule asks that people who have a street address ending in even numbers water on Thursdays and Sundays.

People who have a street address ending in odd numbers are asked to water on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Commerical customer voluntary watering days are Tuesdays and Fridays for all addresses.

Residents are asked to avoid outdoor watering between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.
