Quarterback: Lake Travis junior Charlie Brewer has completed 73 percent of his passes this season while throwing for 1,334 yards and 21 touchdowns. In addition to being Westlake’s leading rusher, junior Sam Ehlinger has tossed 25 touchdown passes with no interceptions. Edge: Westlake

Other offense: Lake Travis senior Abe Willows is a Harvard pledge who has rushed for 711 yards and 11 touchdowns on only 58 carries. Five of senior Chase Cokley’s 10 touchdown catches have been recorded during Westlake’s past two games. Edge: Westlake

Defense: Lake Travis has allowed 7.6 points per game, and the Cavaliers’ defense has outscored opponents 20-3 over the past four games. Westlake is giving up 12 points per game, and its first seven opponents averaged 32.4 points per game when they weren’t facing the Chaparrals. Edge: Lake Travis

Special teams: Lake Travis’ Maleek Barkley (97-yard kickoff return), Hudson Fife (49-yard punt return) and Cade Green (37-yard punt return) have each scored on special teams. Westlake senior Steve Rioux recorded a touchdown on a 70-yard kickoff return in a 58-19 victory over Akins on Oct. 9. Edge: Lake Travis

Intangibles: A 24-7 victory last season was Lake Travis’ seventh straight over Westlake. The Chaparrals, who sit two spots behind the sixth-ranked Cavaliers in the Associated Press Class 6A state poll, have handed five teams their first losses of the season. Edge: Lake Travis
