A diving team combed through Lake Travis on Monday looking for the swimmer reported missing over the weekend. The team ended its search operation at 4:30 p.m.

The search on the surface of the lake will continue, according to Travis County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Roger Wade. Crews were using sonar to locate objects, but only found a trash pile.

The sheriff’s Office took over the search on Saturday, June 11 when a man went missing from a party boat around 3:41 p.m. Police said it’s possible the man got onto another boat or out of the water.

The water was searched periodically over the weekend. Crews are looking in Little Devil’s Hollow where the man went missing. Water depths in the area are reportedly 50 feet deep.
