With Lake Travis full, some homeowners are seeing it as a good time to sell.

Cleta Stapp is one of those homeowners. She purchased her 3,089-square foot home at the Barton Creek Country Club at Lakeside more than 10 years ago.

"It's time for someone else to enjoys this home, the beautiful view, and the lake," Stapp said.

Real Estate broker Jonathan Stilley said when the lake is full, property values go up. He added 29 homes on Lake Travis sold in March 2016, around triple the number of homes sold in March 2015.

'It's been months where there were zero sales or four sales. So to see this month already higher than the peak time for these lake-front properties or lake access it really bodes well," Stilley said.

More than 200 homes near Lake Travis are on the market, and Stilley said he expects most of them will sell by the end of 2016. In meantime, Stapp will continue renovations so her home will in top-notch shape for the next buyer.
