UMHB's Eaton Honored

http://media.graytvinc.com/images/insidetitle_umhb.gifUniversity of Mary Hardin-Baylor women’s basketball player Lindsay Eaton has been named American Southwest Conference West Division Player of the Week for the week ending November 29th.

Eaton, a senior forward from Lake Travis High School, averaged 22.5 points and eight rebounds per game over a pair of UMHB victories during the week. She poured in a career-high 34 points on 11-14 shooting in a win over Trinity University and also grabbed eight rebounds in that game. The 34 points are the third-highest single-game total in school history. Eaton then scored 11 points and added eight more rebounds in a 79-61 win over East Texas Baptist to open conference play Monday night.

The Cru women are currently 3-1 overall and 1-0 in ASC play this season. The UMHB women have won three in a row since a season-opening loss to Wisconsin-Oshkosh. The Cru women will return to action with a pair of ASC home games this weekend. UMHB will take on LeTourneau University in a 5:30 PM start on Thursday night before closing out the week with a 1:00 PM tip-off against U.T.-Tyler on Saturday.
