We’ll have one more warm day today before a cold front hits later tonight, and brings with it lows near 50 and possible, severe storms, according to the National Weather Service.

This morning, we’ll see areas of fog before 10 a.m., which should later lead to partly sunny skies and a high of 88, the service said.

We’ll also have a 20 percent shot of rain starting this afternoon, the service said. The chance for rain increases to 60 percent this evening, the service said.

Tonight, a cold front and upper level disturbance will move across Central Texas that will generate isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms, the service said. Some of the thunderstorms could become severe east of Georgetown to Austin with the threat of large hail, damaging winds, and localized heavy rainfall, the service said.

On Tuesday, rain chances decline to 20 percent, the service said. In the following days, we’ll see temperatures gradually decline with highs closer to the low 70s and lows mostly in the 40s, the service said. By Friday night, we could hit a low of 36, the service said.
