A night of holiday cheer turned into a night of frustration for some people trying to see the Trail of Lights.

On Saturday, some people went to the Trail of Lights with tickets they bought online but they couldn't get in.

James Russell with the Trail of Lights said they were running 33 buses but the lines continued to back up. Two hours before closing they had to start turning people away.

Anybody that bought tickets online for Saturday and was turned away can use their passes on either Monday or Tuesday. Questions about ticketing can be emailed to info@austintrailoflights.org

The Trail of Lights runs through Tuesday night.
