Austin police say a 24-year-old woman was charged with intoxication assault after a watercraft collision on Lake Austin sent a man to an area hospital on Saturday.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Gabriella Marie Jacob was driving a personal watercraft with a passenger about 7:15 p.m. near 1500 City Park Road in Emma Long Park.

Police say she was driving the wrong way on the lake and she collided with another craft.

Jacob’s passenger was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with broken ribs and internal bleeding, according to the affidavit.

Jacob was released from Travis County Jail on Sunday. Her bail was set at $10,000.
