The event aimed to support the Parvo Puppy ICU, a specialized facility at Austin Pets Alive dedicated to treating puppies infected with canine parvovirus, a highly contagious and often fatal disease

Austin Pets Alives Parvo Puppy ICU is a groundbreaking program, the first of its kind in the nation, established in 2008. It provides critical care and rehabilitation for puppies diagnosed with parvovirus, offering an alternative to euthanasia, which was previously the standard practice for such cases. The ICU has been instrumental in saving thousands of lives, with an impressive 90% survival rate. This success is attributed to the programs innovative treatment methods and the communitys unwavering support, which has been crucial in sustaining the program and expanding its reach
