The International House of Pancakes LLC has teamed up with Shriners Hospitals for Children to give away free buttermilk pancakes Feb. 23.
Austinites who visit one of nine area pancake houses between 6 a.m.
and 10 p.m. can recieve a free short stack in honor of National Pancake
Day. Participants can also at $1, $5 or another denomination on their
bill that will be donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, a
network of 22 pediatric hospitals throughout North America.

The Shriners and IHOP are looking to raise $1.75 million with the
effort. To date, the pancake house has contributed almost $1 million to
Shriners Hospitals for Children.
The free pancakes will be offered to dine-in customers only, one per
person, while supplies last. The special can not be combined with any
other offer, coupon or discount.
