Lake Travis' football team has won 46 consecutive games, the longest
active streak in the state, but the Cavaliers' tentative non- district
schedule for 2010 will make it a challenge for them to push the streak
to 50.
Under first-year coach Hank Carter, the Cavs are scheduled
to play Westlake, a Class 5A state finalist in 2009; Aledo, a Class 4A
state champion last year; Kerrville Tivy, a 4A state semifinalist: and
Hendrickson, another 4A playoff team.

Westlake took first in the meet with 153 points, while Bowie finished second with 119. Anderson placed third.

the boys swimmer of the meet, won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly.
The Chaps' Eric Dirvin (200 individual medley), Reed Snyder (500

regional meet will include 30 swimmers from Lake Travis, which swept
through its district meet with ease. Leading the way for the Cavs were
district swimmer of the year Reid Elliott, Katie Grose and district
diver of the year Alexandra Bettridge.
