Divers and volunteers spent Saturday morning moving docks at the Austin Yacht Club.

With recent rain, the level at Lake Travis has gone up enough for them to move the docks toward their normal position.

The lake is just over 646 feet, which is still 20 feet lower than the monthly average for October.

"It's very good to have the lake going the right direction, so bit by bit we're hoping to move things back into normal operation," harbor commander Christopher Dwight said.

The Austin Yacht Club budgeted $10,000 for dock movers this year.

Since the lake level kept falling all summer, they've spent about $23,000 in 2009 so far.
