The operator of Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis has brought in lodging executive Stephen Bello as the property's new general manager.
Bello will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 168-room property in the Lakeway community.
Bello most recently served as managing director of Hawks Cay Resort, a 40-acre property on Duck Key, Fla., that included a 177-room hotel, 250 villas and an 85-slip marina. There he oversaw a $40 million renovation in addition to regular operations.
The Lakeway Resort features three restaurants, a business center, fitness center, outdoor pools, heated whirlpool, water sports at an adjacent marina, golf on nearby courses and the San Saba Spa. In addition to its lodging and spa features, the resort also has 24,000 square feet of meeting space, making it one of the area's largest hotel-conference centers.
Dolce Hotels and Resorts, headquartered in Montvale, N.J., and Paris, is majority-owned by Broadreach Capital Partners and employs approximately 4,000 worldwide.
