HGTV House Hunters follows Kenn Renner from BuyAustin.com as he shows homes in Round Rock and the Lake Travis area of Austin in two upcoming episodes. On Monday, October 26th, and on Saturday, November 7th HGTV’s number one rated show “House Hunters” will feature one of Austin, Texas’ top real estate agents, Kenn Renner ( www.buyaustin.com). Even during tougher economic times there is no shortage of T.V. viewers wanting to watch home buyers on the hunt for fine homes. HGTV’s “House Hunters” continues to be it’s highest rated show with over 2 million viewers each week. One of their favorite areas of the nation to film is Austin, Texas. Sarah Allison, one of the shows producers explained, “We love shooting in Austin – it is just very scenic and friendly as well as incredibly affordable. Our film crews just love Austin and having a show featuring one of Austin Top Realtors searching for his own home really makes for a good storyline.” Real estate expert Kenn Renner explains “The first show we filmed with House Hunters featured me helping a couple of school teachers find their move up home. They looked in the golf course communities of Teravista in Round Rock and Falcon Pointe in Pflugerville as well as a home in Forest Oaks and the second show was actually my own family’s hunt for a custom dream home near Lake Travis” In regards to the actual shooting of the show Kenn said, “Filming this show was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about producing video. It was an incredible experience, especially the fact that we were able to include our family & friends. Even our golden retriever – “Angel” appeared in many of the scenes. I was amazed at how thorough and lengthy the filming process was for HGTV. We filmed every single room and each scene was filmed at least two times. Filming just one home took an entire day! Our feet were very tired to say the least.” Kenn encourages home buyers that want to appear on HGTV’s House Hunters to contact him because the show’s producers have invited him to be on future shows. “Being on House Hunters is not only a lot of fun but it documents the process of finding your next home that you can share with your friends, family. It is a great experience and I look forward to doing more shows.” Airtimes on HGTV: Monday’s episode (10/26/2009 @ 7:30 P.M. E/P & 6:30 P.M. C) Kenn will be assisting a couple find their move-up home in Round Rock and on Sunday’s episode (11/7/2009 @ 10P.M. E/P & 9 P.M. C) he will be on the “hunt” for his own lake side dream home. About Real Estate Agent and Broker, Kenn Renner:Kenn moved to Austin in 1993 after working in the real estate industry in both California and Alaska as an investor. He started investing in Austin after researching areas of the nation to invest in. During his first visit to Austin, Kenn purchased three investment homes and fell in love with the City. “Austin is so fresh, vibrant and electric. There is an atmosphere of opportunity and possibility for entrepreneurs and businesspeople tempered with a passion for recreation and relaxation. It is much more laid back than the rush- rush California lifestyle that I’d been accustomed to,” he adds. Kenn just signed his first national book publishing deal. His new book “First Time Home Buying Secrets – Revealed” will be available later this year. Find out more about the book and read the first few chapters at: www.firsttimehomebuyingsecrets.comIn addition, Kenn Renner is an Austin Real Estate Agent and Broker with Keller Williams – Lake Travis and is a national seminar speaker on the subject of real estate and finance. He has closed over $80,000,000 in real estate transactions in the past three years making him one of the top real estate brokers in the region. His website: www.BuyAustin.com is content rich with video presentations and hi-tech real estate resources.
