There's some good news for Lake Travis boaters.
The Mansfield Dam boat ramp got a recent 36-foot expansion that has opened it back up for small boats.
Matt McAdoo got the good news that he could launch at Mansfield, so he decided to take his boat out for one last summer ride.
He pretty much had the ramp to himself Sunday morning.
"It's a good thing for me. I don't have to wait in line, because at the beginning of the summer, it was a two-hour wait just to launch," McAdoo said.
Only one lane is open, and you can only launch boats shorter than 20 feet.
The Lower Colorado River Authority warns to launch at your own risk.
Even with one lane back open at the Mansfield Dam boat ramp, launching options are limited.
Just For Fun Watercraft Rentals said they would have expected more business, since people are having a hard time getting onto the lake, but that hasn't been the case.
They said many people think Lake Travis is closed since the public boat ramps have been closed.

But, for some people, the slow in boat traffic has been a good thing.
The Austin Yacht Club is enjoying the slow-down in motor boating.
"It's been a lot quieter this year on the lake, not near as much motor boat noise and not near as much motor boat traffic, so there's been a lot less congestion on the lake," David Lewis, the commodore of the Austin Yacht Club, said.
The lower lake levels have also given the club a chance to do some cleanup. They loaded two dump trucks with trash that had been underwater for years.
