Canyon Ranch's new Hill Country wellness resort in Spicewood is scheduled to open for overnight guests on Oct. 22, Community Impact reports.
The 600-acre property will have 141 hotel rooms and 134 residential units. Stays are all-inclusive and cover dining at two on-site restaurants, pool and fitness center access, use of a 40,000-square-foot spa, and a mix of daily activities. Estella, led by chef-in-residence Val M. Cantú, will serve seasonal Mexican-inspired food.
Beyond spa services, the resort plans personalized medicine offerings for guests, including sports medicine, alternative medicine, body composition screening and other consultations.
On-site homes ranging from about 3,208 to 4,827 square feet are listed starting at $3.8 million, with homeowner membership access to resort facilities. CEO Mark Rivers said full residential buildout is expected over five to seven years. Canyon Ranch also operates resorts in Massachusetts and Arizona and called the Austin-area Hill Country a natural third location.
