Lake Travis High School’s Cavalier Stadium is opening in a new form after a renovation priced at nearly $50 million. The Lake Travis ISD board set a guaranteed maximum price of $48.3 million in July 2025 with White Construction. The work replaces the old 7,400-seat stadium with a complex built for about 12,000, plus a three-story women’s field house, press box, locker rooms, concessions, restrooms, and a spirit store. Voters had set aside $26.3 million in the 2023 bond; the district covered the rest with savings from other bond projects.

Construction started in fall 2025 while the Cavaliers played “home” games elsewhere, including Dripping Springs and Kelly Reeves. The district said in July that the stadium was on track to welcome students and families this October for Friday night games, graduation, and community events.
