Typical summertime heat and humidity continue across the Austin area today, with morning clouds giving way to mainly sunny skies and triple-digit highs for most locations. “Feels like” temperatures will run about 3–6 degrees higher than the actual air temperature due to humidity, while gusty southeast winds of 20–25 mph are expected this afternoon and evening.

On Friday, a small disturbance could bring a few sea-breeze showers, mainly along and east of I-35, though rain chances remain low and totals would be minimal. Highs will still reach the upper 90s to low 100s, with continued gusty south winds. The weekend turns hot, dry, and sunny, with afternoon highs hovering in the low 100s both days.
