Deep Eddy Pool is closed for repairs: What Austin swimmers need to know

Austin's historic Deep Eddy Pool is temporarily closing for repairs. The popular spring-fed municipal pool at 401 Deep Eddy Ave. will be shut down from Monday, June 22, through Sunday, June 28, 2026, to fix a broken fill inlet valve.

The valve, which broke earlier this year, is essential for filling the pool in time for morning openings. Crews will make the repairs during the one-week closure, with the pool expected to reopen on Monday, June 29, barring any weather-related delays. Swimmers are encouraged to check other Austin pools during this time.
