Father's Day in Austin and Central Texas will be hot and mostly dry with a chance of spotty showers. High temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-90s under humid conditions, with feels-like temperatures reaching the low triple digits due to the moisture. Most areas should stay dry through much of the day, but daytime heating could trigger a few stray showers or isolated storms, particularly in the afternoon.
Looking ahead, the heat will persist through the workweek with highs in the mid to upper 90s and minimal rain chances. Overnight lows will remain warm in the upper 70s. A Heat Advisory is in effect for parts of the area, such as San Saba County, due to the combination of heat and humidity.
