Wellness resort Canyon Ranch Austin to open this fall

Canyon Ranch Austin, a major wellness resort, is set to open this fall in Spicewood, Texas, near Austin. The 600-acre development along Lake Travis will combine a luxury resort with residential homes, marking a significant addition to the area's high-end wellness scene. It includes 141 resort rooms for guests, a world-class destination spa (claimed to be Texas's largest), extensive fitness and medical facilities, pools, aquatics centers, and outdoor adventure programming.
The project also features The Ranch Home Collection, with 134 luxury homesites (0.8 to 3.7 acres) designed by Lake Flato Architects, ranging from about 2,868 to 4,827 square feet and starting at $3.5 million. Homeowners will enjoy exclusive access to the resort's amenities, including a massive 27,000-square-foot fitness center known as The Barn. Reservations are now open for the October 15, 2026, debut, positioning Canyon Ranch as a comprehensive destination for integrative wellness, nutrition, movement, and recovery in the Texas Hill Country.
