Austin will see hot and humid conditions on Tuesday with afternoon highs in the low 90s (feeling closer to the upper 90s due to humidity). The day will be partly sunny with only isolated showers or storms possible in the afternoon. A broken line of showers is expected to move in from the northeast late Tuesday evening into the overnight hours, though it should weaken as it progresses.

Rain chances will increase through the middle and end of the week, with the highest probabilities arriving by Friday. Most days will have the best chance for showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening hours. Heavier rainfall is possible later in the week, raising the potential for localized flash flooding—especially Thursday through Saturday. Most areas could see 0.25–1 inch of rain by the end of Friday, with some spots picking up 1–3 inches. Scattered rain and storms may continue into the weekend.
