An early morning downpour was a sight for sore eyes in Dallas.The Dallas-Fort Worth Airport recorded nearly an inch of rainfall.

Saturday's rain came after the hottest July on record, complete with a triple-digit heat streak that finally ended Thursday.

But, the sweltering weather isn't over.

The national weather service says residents could see temperatures back in the triple digits by Monday.

North Texas residents are a bit luckier than Austin Sunday morning. They woke up to rain Saturday.
