San Antonio Madison’s football coach, Jim Streety, said Monday that wide receiver Dannon Cavil has decided to transfer to Madison from Lake Travis.
Streety said Cavil’s father recently took a new job in San Antonio. Dannon Cavil joined the Mavericks on Monday for their opening practice, Streety said.
A cousin of former Texas Longhorn wideout Kwame Cavil,
Dannon caught 21 passes for 425 yards and five touchdowns last season,
when Lake Travis won its fourth consecutive Class 4A state championship.
