The death of a person found dead in Lake Travis this morning is being investigated as suspicious, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.
Roger Wade, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said the office received a call about 11:30 a.m. Several men working on a boat dock spotted the body floating in the water, he said.
“The body is in such a condition that detectives cannot determine what age or (gender) it is,” Wade said. “It will have to be sent to the medical examiner’s office.”
