In an area where a swimmer disapeared on Sunday

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Travis County Sheriff's Office has recovered a body in the Devil's Cove area of Lake Travis on Tuesday night.

Just before 7:30 p.m. tonight, a 911 caller stated she saw a body floating in the water.

Officials are not confirming the identify of the victim.

The Travis County Medical Examiner's Office will have to determine positive ID and notify next of kin.

Since Sunday afternoon, rescuers have been searching for the body of 26-year-old male swimmer in the Devil's Cove area.

The man was apparently partying on-board a boat when a third party called 911 to report him missing.
