The fire that broke out Sunday on on private land just east of Milton Reimer's Ranch Park in Western Travis County has flared up once again.

The fire went to four alarms around 3:30 p.m. Monday and as of 4:30 p.m. it was threatening two homes and had burned 40 acres.

According to Travis County Fire Chief Buddy Crain no people have been evacuated though horses from a nearby ranch were evacuated.

Investigators say the fire started by failed insulation on a power line.

Hays County, Travis County, and Austin fire departments are all assisting Lake Travis Fire Rescue.

KVUE News has a crew on the way to the scene. Check back for more details.
