The Austin Police Department Parks and Lake Patrol Unit will prohibit
the use and operation of personal watercraft, wet bikes, motorized
surfboards and similar devices on Lake Austin beginning at sunset on
Friday, May 27, 2011 and ending on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at sunrise. No
personal watercraft of any kind will be allowed on Lake Austin.
The Austin Police Department DWI Enforcement and Lake Patrol Units
will enforce a “DWI and BWI No Refusal Initiative” for Memorial Day
Weekend.
The DWI no refusal initiative will take place from 9 pm to 5
