HILL COUNTRY GALLERIA TO HOST LTCC 4th ANNUAL SPRINGFEST

BEE CAVE, TX (April 30, 2011) – The Lake Travis Chamber of Commerce is partnering with host Hill Country Galleria, a 1.3-million-square-foot lifestyle center located in Bee Cave, Texas, to present the 4th annual SpringFest, a community festival filled with shopping, food, music and fun for the whole family.

SpringFest kicks off at 11AM on Saturday, April 30th. “It is the BIGGEST time in the smallest town with vendor and merchant shopping galore, a KidZone the size of a football field, a boat expo featuring the latest and greatest in watercraft and a BBQ cook-off to determine this year’s Lake Travis Rib King”, says SpringFest Chair, Will Mitchell.

“We look forward to another electrifying event in Bee Cave,” says Laura Mitchell, IOM, President of the Chamber. “This amazing festival is a fun event for all ages filled with great music, a huge KidZone and unique shopping.”

SpringFest anticipates welcoming 10,000-12,000 attendees to this year’s event. The phenomenal line up of performing arts and live music sponsored by American Bank of Lakeway includes PAIYH Dance Studios, TexARTS, the Carson Brock Band, Andrea Marie and The Magnolia Band, Duck Soup and headliner, Bruce Robison. “It’s our pleasure to be the entertainment sponsor for SpringFest for the 4th year in a row.  We are glad that we have had the opportunity to participate in a community event of this caliber and we’re proud to be a community bank that supports the BIGGEST time in the smallest town,” says Jamie Baillie, Private Banking Officer and Chris Harrison, Cash Management Officer.

Stroll through 150+ local and regional artisan vendor booths for an experience that is only found in South Lake Travis. Everyone is welcome, and admission is FREE! Bring the kiddos – they will have hours of fun playing in our KidZone (nominal fee) brought to you by Brake Specialists complete with a gaga pit, bounce houses, reverse bungee, hamster wheels, face-painting and more. See the sensational line-up of luxury vehicles throughout the festival from Lexus of Austin. Visit the Boat Expo with superior watercraft from Sail & Ski and Austin Boats and Motors. Enjoy your favorite festival food and beverages throughout the event. New this year is a Beer Garden where attendees can enjoy a frosty brew and some delicious BBQ from Buster’s BBQ.

“The Hill Country Galleria is a stunning venue and the perfect host for SpringFest,” says Mitchell. “Partnering with the Hill Country Galleria provides us with an opportunity to create a strong, positive economic impact on the local economy.”
