The following students have received the Gold Award, the highest level of recognition in Girl Scouts:

Natasha is a sophomore at Lake Travis High School and a member of Troop 1569.

Emily Playfair,16, daughter of Cyndy and Paul Playfair of Austin, redecorated a bedroom and bathroom at the Texas Baptist Children's Home. She also built a garden and swing where families could spend quality time together.
