Houston-based Partners in Building LP expects to begin selling homes in the new Canyons on Lake Travis residential development in March.
The custom home builder and designer purchased the 121 acres of land at an auction in November 2010. Austin Area Manager Jerry Bily said the development, located northwest of the Mansfield Dam and near Cloudy Ridge Road, would contain 57 homes on one-acre lots.
The gated community would have views of the Hill Country and access to Lake Travis ISD schools. Bily said he expects to have four homes available-one being a model-starting in the high $400,000s by March. Work is continuing on landscaping, common areas and the front gate.
