Austin Water Utility pumped nearly 218 million gallons of water Thursday, the highest amount so far this year.

Hand watering of lawns is permitted on any day, except between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Austin Water Utility said with water flow into Lake Travis at the lowest level since the 1940s, it's very important for everyone to conserve.
