We now know how much it cost tax payers to provide security for this summer's Aquapalooza.

The two-day Lake Travis concert attracted tens of thousands of people back in July.

KVUE's partners at the Austin American-Statesman report more than 300,000 of your tax dollars were spent. That is money beyond what would have been spent on a typical summer weekend.

The organizer of the event says that spending was the decision of local law enforcement agencies, and was not requested.
