The rain is associated with a low-pressure system that moved into the area yesterday, Amanda Fanning with the service said.

There is a 50 percent chance of rain tonight, mostly after 7 p.m., and a 40 percent chance tomorrow, she said.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport has received 0.37 inches of rain since midnight, Fanning said. Camp Mabry has received 0.15 inches in the same time, with some isolated areas seeing more or less, she said.

The rain chances will begin to decrease by tomorrow evening, and the rest of the week is clear, the weather service said.

The forecast Thursday through Saturday calls for clear skies, with highs in the 70s and overnight lows in the 40s.
