Officials identify floating body in Lake Travis

http://media2.kxan.com//photo/2010/11/01/mayo_20101101170858_320_240.JPGOfficials with the Travis County Sheriff's Office have identified the body of a man recovered at the Mansfield Dam boat ramp early Sunday morning.

Officials said park visitors were launching a boat at Mansfield Dam boat ramp when they spotted 61-year-old James Boyd Mayo Jr.'s body floating face down in the water.

According to park rangers, there were no signs of serious trauma or obvious indications of what happened.

An autopsy is being done to determine how Mayo died.

Anyone with information about the death is asked to call Travis County Sheriff's Office at (512) 472-8477.
