Like most schools in Central Texas, the Lake Travis Cavaliers start practicing early in the morning to beat the summer heat.

"It's no use trying to battle 105 degree temperatures. We want to get our stuff taught. We want our guys to be mentally sharp," head coach Hank Carter said.

The team is getting ready for their first game against their biggest rival, Westlake High School.

The Cavaliers have won three state championships in 4A classification. They currently have the longest winning streak in Texas.
