Some folks spend their whole lives searching for a Yeti in the coldest climates of the world.
But one Austin company has a Yeti for sale.
"The economy hasn't slowed us down, and I think the reason is because we're in a growing market, that the high-end cooler market is kind of new to the U.S," said Ryan Seiders, Co-Owner, Yeti Coolers.
Yeti Coolers is an Austin based business. Ryan Seiders and his brother Roy have been in the cooler business for 8 years.
He says they were building boats together.. and just going through the coolers. That's when they came up with the "Yeti", which is made the same way as a kayak. It's heavy duty and keeps ice cold for hours.
The "Yeti" cooler even passed federal and state tests for resistance to grizzly bears. This means campers can store their food on the ground when camping in bear country.
