Authorities found a man’s body in Lake Travis, Friday. His body was found 13-feet deep in the water near a dock at the Easy Street Marina in Jonestown.

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said a man was reported missing around 10:15 p.m. Thursday, but a sheriff’s department spokesperson said it’s not known if the two are the same.

His body was found at 12:19 p.m. Friday. The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office, and the sheriff’s office is investigating.

Authorities would not say if there were signs of foul play. If the man’s death is ruled a drowning, it would be the first in Lake Travis this year.
