We had driven by Don Juan's countless times on our way to the Hill Country Galleria, without knowing that we just passed our favorite restaurant, with the best authentic Mexican food in Austin. Once inside, we made our way past the hand painted mural, and were greeted by a friendly staff who lead us to our table with gorgeous hill country views!

We enjoyed a cold drink on the balcony, the waitstaff was attentive, and the food was amazing. We started with the delicious steak fajita nachos. They individually prepare each chip with refried beans, cheese, and 3-4 chunks of steak fajita! (served with guacamole, sour cream, and yummy pico de gallo)

Next came the main portion... our chicken fajitas came out sizzling, and the portions were more than generous. We listened to live music the remainder of the evening, while our little boy made friends with our server and the manager! 

As the sun set, we thanked our waiter, and let our little boy check out the massive aquarium one more time.  Don Juan's is great for couples, family gatherings, you name it!  We love Don Juan's and we're going back tonight!
