Quarterback Michael Brewer was on target all night, leading the fourth-ranked Cavaliers (5-1, 2-0) over the Vipers (3-4, 0-3).


In his first action since injuring his shoulder against Hendrickson in week one, Brewer cruised, completing 25 passes on 32 attempts for 304 yards and three touchdowns.


"It was a huge relief just to suit up and play," Brewer said. "I was just taking what the defense was giving me, trying to ease into it and not do too much."

Brewer said the shoulder felt great after the game, and didn't seem to have any lingering effects.
