Lake Travis is sitting at its highest level in years, and the water levels have affected docks along the lake creating a boom for the repair business.

Water supply is currently at 677 feet, whereas last year it was at 628 feet. With the lake 93 percent full businesses are booming. But the work has been year-round for dock repair men.

The work involves making sure docks are kept leveled as the lake rises and lowers.

"Work for us is always pretty good especially on Lake Travis, Lake Travis is a fluctuating lake so when it goes up or down-- as long as it's moving we still have adjustments to do and we still get called out so business stays pretty good,” said William Shane, with Lake Services Inc.

Other work includes boat recovery, barge services and relocating.
