Lago Vista residents prepare to evacuate due to flooding of Lake Travis

As the water level in Lake Travis rises, residents who once lived in lakefront property are now getting a whole new appreciation for the term 'lakefront.'
Lyle and Tracy Nelson have lived in their home for more than 20 years. It sits just down the road from 'The Island' condominium community. With the help of some friends and neighbors, they were able to get things that sat in their garage and art studio out of the waters way.
