Central Texas has a sunny and warm weekend on tap, as cooler temperatures from a recent cold front has left the region.

We’re looking at a high of 83 and a low tonight of 63, the National Weather Service said. We’ll see more of the same throughout the weekend.

That’s slightly higher than recent temps, as Austin saw a low of 44 yesterday, the lowest temperature in at least five months, thanks to a cold front that moved the Austin in the past few days.

We could see another, much more wet cold front by next Wednesday, which could bring up to a quarter inch of rain, the service said. By Halloween weekend, we could see another run of cooler and dry conditions.
